Greetings all who support the cause of Keaton! Most of you remember the TOP TEN list way back from 90's week. It was titled: "A Very Special TOP TEN." And seeing how this week is sort of a follow up to 90's week, this TOP TEN is sort of a follow up too! So what does that mean to you? IT MEANS THIS POST WILL ROCK! Ok, now let's get started.Ah, the 80's. Some of my best pre-natal memories are from that time. Although I didn't join the party until 1989, much of the influence from the 80's still had it's effect on me. So without any further ado, I present to you now: the TOP TEN list!
TOP TEN THINGS FROM THE 80's THAT SHOULD BE BROUGHT BACK NOW.
10. Thundercats
Thundercats...Thundercats....Thundercats!! HOOOOOOOOOO!
Sorry that is just something I have always wanted to say on here.
9. Roller Skates
The most stylish thing ever. Period. The only problem was that it was WAY hard to look cool in them while actually moving. No matter how hard you try, nobody is a smooth rider.
8. The NES
Otherwise known as the Nintendo Entertainment System. The original and hard to beat! Classic games and easy controllers were just some of the things that made this system great! ......If you could get it to work.
7. Tights Under Skirts
Ok. Honestly, these really weren't that hot. But still, they scream 80's.
6. Michael Jordan (and cool Jordan shoes)
There is still nobody like this. Somebody that is way good AND that everybody actually likes. I still remember the Jazz playing the Bulls and Jordan spanking us. But we didn't hate him like we do Kobe. And it all started in the 80'.
5. Great Movies!
It was great movies like Back to the Future and Indiana Jones that set the standard for what I think a great movie should be. The movies that were made in the 80's are still some of the best ones to this day.
4. SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK!
The best thing about elementary school! Haha!
Everything from "Conjunction Junction what's your function?" to "I'm just a bill." The excitement was unparalleled! And as a testament to their effectiveness, I can still remember them 13 years later!
3. MacGyver
Anybody who knows me knows that there wasn't a chance in heck that this would be left off the list. It is one of the best TV shows of all time. Good morals too. What more could you ask for? (Besides an awesome sidekick. RIP Dana Elcar.)
2. Awesome Catchphrases and Adjectives.
They were radical.

That was a GREAT 80s top ten list. Yes, definitely the BEST thing about the 80s was the birth of Keaton Cory Gerrard - one of the best days of my life!!
